“Let’s Celebrate” column:
We would love to hear of your successes and share them in the newsletter! Have
you just obtained your CPHQ? Received a promotion at work, changed positions
or employers? Had an article or book published? Been selected to participate
in a Poster Session, to speak at a conference or to serve on a NAHQ committee?
Completed a degree or fellowship or received an award?

Quality/Safety Info Column:
Is there a topic on quality/safety that you would like to share? Is there information
or news that you found in a list-serve or a publication that you feel would
benefit the membership? Or is there simply a success story about a QI/Safety
project or outcome that you or your organization has achieved?

The Critic’s Corner:
Is there an interesting book or article you’ve read recently that you
think would benefit the membership? Did you attend a conference that had information
about a topic you found useful, or did you hear a speaker that you would like
to highlight? If so, then please submit your review to Debbie Mobley at:
nursemobley@verizon.net
Q-Tips column:
We would like to solicit your input and ideas for items related to quality
and safety for this feature. Perhaps you are struggling with the “how
to” implementation portion for a particular initiative. Do you want to “compare
notes” and see what others are doing? What quality improvement activities
would you like to hear about that have been successful for others? Please send
your thoughts/ideas about any topic areas…crossing the entire continuum
to Margaret Aston who will research the topic and prepare a write-up for each

Survey Savvy column:
If you have recently undergone a survey; (CMS or Joint Commission or others)
perhaps you could share information about the survey outcomes, areas of focus
of the surveyors, “hot topics” to prepare for and helpful hints
for success. You can submit an article or just “bullet point” the
highlights for inclusion in this column. Your fellow VAHQ members would certainly
